I have been wanting to read Pink and Country for ages now after seeing some wonderful reviews, and I finally got my chance. This is another new to me author, and it was certainly worth picking up.

This was a very sweet slow-burn romance between two beautiful but damaged characters Carter and April. I love that each of them have a past history/secrets that they are working through, and it's beautiful seeing them get out of their own way and accept each other and the support they can offer. I loved the instant attraction and easy banter between the two and thought their story was beautifully developed, with some well-placed laugh-out-loud moments.

The only thing that let me down on this one was the length - I felt in a few areas there was some unnecessary filler that we could do without, and I also got a little bit annoyed at times with all the nicknames used (particularly in the beginning of the book, this was less of a problem later on). This didn't take too much away from the story but is worth mentioning.

Overall I enjoyed this one, and if you are after an emotional read with an angsty and charismatic rock-star hero, a kind, heartwarming heroine, slow-burn, cute plot, and plenty of steam then this one may be for you.
