K.K Allen took us on one amazingly heart-wrenching and emotional journey of self-discovery and healing in this book, and I was hooked from the first page.

I hadn't read the first books in the Camp Bexley series but I personally found I didn't need to. K.K does such a wonderful job at world and character building and I felt fully immersed even without knowing some of the secondary characters and their stories. In saying that I will definitely be going back to read more from this world.

Benson and Brooklyn were so good together, their banter, chemistry, and the love they share with each other was so beautiful to read, and I loved the transition from revenge to love, what a journey.

Things I loved:

  • Brooklyn's fire, determination and ability to stand up to Benson

  • Benson!! He is such an interesting character with so many layers and I could honestly feel the pain he felt through the pages

  • The depth of all the characters

  • The spice... K.K Allen knows what she's doing *wink wink*

Overall this was a wonderful book with amazing characters, some saucy spice, revenge, love, friendship, loss, healing, and forgiveness and I definitely recommend checking it out.

"All I have are my words... and my heart that is now yours."
