This is my first read from Caitlyn Dare and I was immediately intrigued by the blurb.

Things I loved:

  • The two main characters. I loved them both - although I will say I was frustrated with Reece's a*sshole tendencies for most of the book, and just wanted to shake him haha. Olivia and Reese were toxic together but had some amazing chemistry and hilarious banter that honestly had me rooting for them from the start, if only they could get out of their own way.

  • Although it was a relatively slow burn when these two connect the fireworks go off that's for sure.

Things I didn't love:

  • I felt like the book didn't have enough oomph carried out throughout the whole thing - this was fixed with the ending and that epic cliffy, but it still would have been great to have a bit more substance in the middle.

  • The plot was a little bit predictable for me and had very stereotypical bad boys

This was filled with drama, lies, unresolved feelings, and plenty of bad boys, and I am definitely intrigued to see where the story goes, and how Reese and Olivia develop in the next part.

"Something this good can't only be hate."
